We believe that communication with our patients is very important and we take the time to answer all questions. For every dental problem, there are often several possible solutions. Since these solutions often differ in price, treatment length, functionality, and aesthetics, it is important for us to listen to your expectations. We will guide you in finding the best option, and any treatment will be done only after your permission.

It is a main concern to us that our treatments are safe. For example, we do not use silver amalgam as a restorative material. Although amalgam has several excellent properties, there is uncertainty regarding its  potential long term toxicity. Therefore, we have completely replaced amalgam with the most advanced tooth colored composite materials.

Hygiene
It is also a main concern to us that there is no risk of contamination during treatment. Therefore, all hygiene procedures comply with, or exceed, Danish and Portuguese hygiene requirements. For example, all instruments including turbines and hand-pieces are sterilized prior to use in the most efficient type of autoclave. This procedure is important since it has been shown that aerosol droplets containing infectious agents of Hepatitis or HIV virus can be sucked into turbines, and thereby transferred to the next patient if the turbine is not properly sterilized.
We use distilled water supplied by a separate water delivery system to the patient's cup and to all instruments. All water entering your mouth during treatment is thus pure and safe.
